The Situation
A sauna suit apparel brand wanted to increase their online sales. Their business had been profitable before iOS14 but since then, they’ve been losing money every month. They were already running Facebook and Instagram ads but but at a low budget of about $200 daily while not doing enough volume to cover standard overhead costs.
For the entire year prior to hiring us, they generated a CPA of right over $100 with an average ROAS of .81X (negative return on ad spend).
We were brought on to strategize, setup, manage, and optimize their Facebook/IG advertising. We quickly identified issues with their ad account. Lack of structure in their ads and not doing enough creative testing. They weren’t using enough varying ad creative (UGC and statics) as well. Their goal was to become profitable again.
The Results
We added a more strategic approach to creative testing to lower their cost per acquisition and increase their ROAS. Through our efforts with Facebook advertising alone we were able to dramatically increase online sales volume, reduce their cost per acquisition, and increase ROAS. Within the first 2 months we generated a 1.85X ROAS and reduced their CPA by about about $40.
By the end of the third month of working together, we generated a 2.35X ROAS, and they were achieving an average CPA of about $49.
We met the client’s initial goal of becoming profitable again.
